General Therapy Services
What general therapy services are provided to children at the Studio?
Occupational Therapy at the Studio is individualized to meet the needs of each child, working in close connection with parents. Therapy focuses on maximizing each child’s potential in one or more of the following areas of development:
- Sensory processing (sensory integration)
- Body foundations (postural control, core strength, muscle tone)
- Motor-planning (gross-motor and bilateral integration)
- Visual processing (visual perception, visual spatial, ocular-motor)
- Fine-motor development (manipulation, skill, accuracy)
- Visual-motor development (drawing, pre-writing, graphic skills/handwriting)
- Self-regulation (attention, activity level, frustration tolerance, impulse control, organization, social-emotional interactions)
